Kai Trump Celebrates Incredible Achievement In Budding Pro Golf Career

Kai Trump, President Trump’s granddaughter, is stepping into the big leagues — and doing it with a 9-iron in hand.

The 17-year-old golf prodigy has snagged a coveted spot in her first-ever LPGA event next month. “The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican” announced Tuesday that Kai will tee off in the star-studded fall series tournament from Nov. 10–16 at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Fla.

The eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr., Kai, is already bound for the University of Miami’s women’s golf team and is currently finishing her senior year at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach. She’s no stranger to competition either, racking up experience in the American Junior Golf Association and South Florida PGA’s Srixon Medalist Tour, where she notched a third-place finish in July.

“My dream has been to compete with the best in the world on the LPGA Tour,” Trump said in a statement accepting The Annika’s third sponsor’s invitation. “This event will be an incredible experience. I look forward meeting and competing against so many of my heroes and mentors in golf as I make my LPGA Tour debut.”

Kai won’t be the only big name drawing eyes. WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark also scored a sponsor invite, joining a lineup stacked with LPGA heavyweights like Nelly Korda, Charley Hull, and Lexi Thompson. The event, hosted by legend Annika Sörenstam, promises to be one of the premier stops of the season.

President Trump has proudly followed Kai’s golf journey — and even joined her for a round at his private club outside Washington, D.C., in a YouTube video on her channel. The former president, known for his own love of the game, has plenty to boast about this time: a Trump making headlines on the fairway.
