Slow-cooked beef and noodles has been around forever for a reason. It’s forgiving, flexible, and deeply satisfying. The slow cooker transforms an inexpensive cut of beef into something incredibly tender, while the noodles turn the sauce into pure comfort.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prepare the Beef

Start by seasoning the chuck roast generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. You don’t need to sear it unless you want to — this recipe is designed to be easy, and skipping that step still gives great results.

Place the roast directly into the slow cooker.

2. Build the Flavor
